This year, Miss Redmore will be teaching Sport in the CLASP session on Friday afternoon. Key Stage 1 will participate in an extra hour of physical activity and sport for a half term as part of their CLASP session. They will improve their skills whilst playing enjoyable team games. Research has proven that these skills transfer into other aspects of the children’s lives and help build confident and resilient learners.

Children will learn new skills and techniques in order to expand their physical education knowledge, as well as promote a healthy lifestyle which includes exercise. Sport intends to promote and instill physical exercise for children, so that exercise becomes an important part of their daily life.
