RE: Judaism

Topic: What's over the hills?

This term in our Geography topic, we will be learning all about the wonderful world of Beatrix Potter and delving into some of her most loved stories inspired by the Lake District. To begin, we will be visiting the place she called home, on a trip along Lake Windermere to the Beatrix Potter museum, where we hope to gain a greater insight into her life and extraordinary work.

As well as this, we will be building on our Geography knowledge, looking at life in the Lake District, comparing land use, travel and tourism to that of Warrington.

Science: May the forces be with you!

This term, our science focus is forces. We will be learning about gravity through the work of Sir Isaac Newton and carrying out our own practical investigations to develop our understanding.
Additionally, we will be learning about other forces which play a part in our lives, including air and water resistance as we design and create our own streamline vehicles.
