Lots of Socks Day 2018
March 21 st was World Down's Syndrome day and as usual Bewsey Lodge did us proud ! All of the children wore their silly socks and took part in an assembly in which Mrs Jones talked about the Down's syndrome community and how important it is to look after one another. She explained that we wear socks on the 21 st March to show that although they are different they are all the same. The children were brilliant and showed fantastic understanding. They are so inclusive and some of them have even started to learn to sign. We raised over £50 which will be sent to the Cheshire Down's Syndrome Support Group which help families and schools who look after children with Down"s Syndrome.
