Everyone Different - Everyone Equal

As part of our ongoing aim to promote tolerance, understanding and respect for others we have ended our Rights Respecting Week with fun-filled wheelchair rugby sessions for all children from Y2-Y6.

The sessions have allowed our children to experience what is feels like to have to adapt to something new when part of your body is restricted; encouraging the children to think in new ways and have the confidence to have a go at something new. It has also allowed them to see that sports played by people with a disability are as fun, as exhilarating and as tough as those played by able bodied sports men and women. It has been a brilliant experience for everyone!
