Pupil Premium & Recovery Premium

Pupil premium is funding to improve education outcomes for disadvantaged pupils in schools in England. Evidence shows that disadvantaged children generally face additional challenges in reaching their potential at school and often do not perform as well as other pupils.

We have chosen to use this funding to:

·         To narrow the gap between disadvantaged and non-disadvantaged pupils in reading, writing and maths

·         For all disadvantaged pupils in school to meet or exceed nationally defined progress rates

·         To enhance positive life experiences, including home circumstances

·         To develop resilient learners who are confident and motivated to learn

Further details of activities used to support these targets can be found within our Pupil Premium Strategy below. This strategy will be implemented across a three-year period though will be monitored regularly by the Pupil Premium Lead, Pupil Premium Governor and Headteacher.
